Accessibility Statement
Ogintz Law Firm values equal, accessible and respectful service for all clients and visitors, including people with disabilities. We work to make our website and office accessible to everyone.
Website Accessibility Level
The website has been adapted to the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, based on W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
The website supports current versions of common browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge) on computers and mobile phones, and assistive technologies such as screen readers.
Website Accessibility Arrangements
- Semantic structure: hierarchical headings, labeled navigation regions, and lists and tables used for their intended purposes.
- Full keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators and a “Skip to main content” link at the top of each page.
- Screen reader support: alternative text for images, hidden decorative elements, and labels for all buttons and form fields.
- Screen reader announcements and focus moved to the page heading when navigating between pages.
- A text-to-background color contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
- Accessible contact form: persistent labels, required-field indicators, clear errors linked to fields and a confirmation message after submission.
- Responsive layouts and zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
- Respect for the system’s reduced-motion preference, disabling animations accordingly.
- Page language and reading direction follow the selected language: Hebrew (right to left) or English (left to right).
Accessibility Menu
An “Accessibility menu” button is available in the bottom-left corner of every page to adapt the display to individual needs. Settings are saved in your browser for future visits:
- Increase and decrease text size
- High contrast mode
- Highlight links
- Readable, spaced font
- Stop animations
- Reset all settings
You can also use accessibility tools built into your browser and operating system, such as zooming with Ctrl and “+” (or Cmd and “+” on a Mac).
